I am Jason Turner, an attorney dedicated to focusing my law practice on contracts for the construction industry as well as serving as an arbitrator. With over 25 years of experience, I have built a reputation for my meticulous attention to detail and my ability to navigate the complexities of construction law. My journey in this field began with extensive experience in civil litigation, representing both plaintiffs and defendants in California courts. Over time, I discovered my true passion lies in the proactive creation and management of contracts, aiming to reduce the potential for disputes before they arise.
As an AV Preeminent® Peer Review Rated attorney, my expertise encompasses contract drafting, negotiation, and revisions, including the specific requirements for Home Improvement contracts under California law. I serve as general counsel for construction companies, assisting them with their contract needs, mechanic’s liens, and resolving disputes related to payment, materials, and work performed.
In addition to my legal practice, I serve as an arbitrator on the panel of the American Arbitration Association, where I work diligently to bring construction disputes to fair and expedient resolutions. This role allows me to apply my extensive knowledge and experience to help parties get a fair and reasonable determination, with close attention to both the law and the facts.
Outside of my law practice and arbitration work, I am an avid photographer with a particular love for capturing the beauty of Japan. My travels to this fascinating country inspire me and bring a unique perspective to my professional life.
With over 25 years of legal practice, a passion for construction law, and a dedication to resolving conflicts, I strive to provide unparalleled support and guidance to my clients in the construction industry.
